WHO IS
ZAKHAR EVSEEV
My name is Zakhar Evseev, also known as Zak Mini Monster. Originally from Siberia, Russia, I am now living in Moscow. My journey in the world of graffiti began 17 years ago. In those days, this art form was barely known in my city. No one knew or understood this form of art where I was. Those days were especially tough and it was a great challenge for me, as no one understood my position.
As my mind was set, I continued my pursuit through practice and gained valuable lessons from any mistakes I made. This helped me to learn, grow and evolve as an artist in my field.
My art is always based on my emotions and my personal traits.
I use simple forms and transform them into unique characters.

THE
TOYS
In 2010, I began creating my characters and named them ‘Mini Monsters’. I am inspired by street culture, the sneaker culture, hip-hop, illustrations and movies such as the Ninja Turtles, Star Wars and many others – especially those with super heroes. I am a self-taught artist, who has never had any drawing lessons. I am constantly working on my style, to set myself apart and put forth my unique characters with their distinct flairs. Being in harmony with my art and myself is of utmost importance to me. I love what I do and I am on a continuous exploration in the world of art to seek new mediums, techniques, canvases, sculptures and toys, with hopes that my art will evolve.
