“FroBob” is another piece of me first using a popular pop icon character, SpongeBob. I don’t like using other’s characters unless I paint them in my own style along with my own character. So this character represents a time in my life when I had a huge fro growing up. One day while out skating, the cops came to kick us out. After the police left, my friend says hold on, and reaches through my fro and pulls a joint out. My hair was so nappy I didn’t even know he hid his weed in my fro when he saw the cops coming. While painting the fro I noticed it’s shaped like a square. Instantly SpongeBob popped in my head. Few hours later, FroBob is born.
